EducateUS Fund wants to make sure you have everything you need to be the sex ed advocate your community deserves. Below are some key resources that many advocates have found useful. Wish there was a resource here but you don’t see it yet? Drop us a line at organizing@educateusaction.org and we’ll see what we can do!
Legal Resource Library
The legal landscape for sex ed keeps shifting, but knowledge is power. That’s why we’re building this free library of explainers and resources, written by lawyers in plain language, to address some of the most common legal questions sex educators and advocates have.
Customizable Digital Ads
Using EducateUS’s original message research, and with support from The Harnisch Foundation and Equality Federation, our partners at EducateUS worked with Gutsy Media to develop and test 30-second digital ads that make the case for sex ed in powerful new ways. Now EducateUS Fund is making them available to you: if you want to replace the branding and call to action with your own organization or group to use them for your sex ed advocacy, use the form at the link to inquire about a free license. Or just share them as they are – they’re proven to persuade and mobilize sex ed supporters to action!
Easy Guide to the National Sex Ed Standards
What do we mean when we say “K-12 Sex Education?” There are plenty of rumors and misinformation floating around. You’ve heard them, and so have your neighbors. This handy one-page overview of the National Sex Ed Standards sets the record straight and is easy to read and to share.
Quickstart Guide to Speaking Up for Sex Ed
So, you support sex education. Now what? It’s time to speak up. Despite being the minority, opponents of sex ed have been making lots of noise at school board and other public meetings.
